| Just off the main road,
nestled in the beautiful valley below the village of
Varysburg, awaits an adventure like none other in Western
New York.
The vision of creating an animal park where adults
and children alike can have direct contact with rare
animals is almost complete.
While the pictures below only contain a glimpse of
the project in progress, much work has been done to
bring it thus far.
This fall we will begin construction of a timber frame
lodge for our visitor center. As guests arrive they
can visit our unique gift shop, or enjoy comfortable
dining in our large, rustic restaurant which overlooks
a beautiful four-acre pond. The lodge will also house
a spacious conference room for hosting meetings and
other private events.
A petting zoo behind the lodge will offer a unique
opportunity to interact with a variety of special animals.
After purchasing a ticket, guests will be treated to
a personally guided tour of the park. Imagine feeding
buffalo and other wild animals right out of your hand.
Plans include having the lodge open year round to welcome
park visitors from spring to fall, and snowmobilers
in the winter as well.
Our current plans are to start running trial tours this fall and be open to the public in the spring of 2007 (opening
date to be announced). Stay tuned for more detailed information this fall.
Invite your friends, school class or church group to
come and experience this great adventure with us!
Hidden Valley Animal Adventure is currently undergoing
